Loquat Valley Anglican School

Meet the Principal

Keith Dalleywater has been engaged in the Independent education sector since 1984, when as a new graduate he was appointed to the staff at St Peter’s Anglican Primary School in Campbelltown, NSW. After six happy and rewarding years he took up the role of Head of Junior School at The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS) in Wollongong, where he served with distinction for nine years. In 1999 he became Head of the Preparatory School (K-6) at the renowned King’s School, Parramatta, a post he held for fourteen years. Mr Dalleywater feels honoured to have been appointed as the ninth Principal of Loquat Valley Anglican Preparatory School and is excited about the adventures that lie ahead for the school!

Since becoming a school leader in 1990 Mr Dalleywater has been a committed member of IPSHA (the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia), serving terms as the NSW State President and more recently the Federal President. The latter role saw him serve also on the National Executive Council and the Secretariat of APPA (the Australian Primary Principals Association), and on the board of PAI (the Principals Australia Institute).

On the personal front, Mr Dalleywater loves ‘being on, in or under the water’, is a keen musician and enjoys playing tennis socially. He is a committed Christian and enjoys taking an active part in church life.

Keith is married to Diana and they live in Newport, within sight across the water of Loquat Valley School! They have two adult sons, a delightful daughter-in-law and an indescribably cute granddaughter!

Keith would be delighted to meet you in person to chat about Loquat Valley School.
