Key Learning Areas
The curriculum at Loquat Valley covers the requirements of the NSW Board of Studies, but goes beyond to give students a stimulating, challenging and well-rounded education.
The six mandatory Key Learning Areas are:

- Science & Technology
- Creative and Performing Arts
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education
- Human Society in its Environment
