Sport & Fitness Program

The Director of Sport coordinates many different activities and sports for the school, as well as teaching Physical Education (PE) lessons to all classes. Our PE program includes the following activities:

  • Swimming (Potential representation at higher levels depending on achievement)
  • Cross country (potential representation at higher levels depending on achievement)
  • Track and field (in-class preparation and training and potential representation at higher levels depending on achievement)

Other sporting opportunities exist on a seasonal basis such as:

  • Soccer
  • Netball
  • Eagle tag
  • Rugby
  • Skiing
  • Basketball

Extra subject lessons

Private contactors offer a wide range of extra-subject lessons in the Sports Program. (Extra subjects in Creative Arts and Language can also be undertaken. Please refer to the relevant heading in this section for further details.)

  • After-school-sport covers a range of different sports over the course of the year.  This program is on Tuesdays for Years 2 and 3, and Thursdays for Years 4, 5 and 6.
  • Fitness on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for Years 3 to 6
  • Tennis
  • Sailing (Terms 1 and 4 for Years 3 and up)
  • Snow-skiing
